The Web-based Project Reporting System (Web-PRS™) is an extensive information management and reporting system which is providing a transparent way for implementers and donors to monitor the immediate and long-term impacts of development programs worldwide, facilitating data management, and enabling enhanced decision-making that leads to more effective and successful program implementation. Web-PRS™ is of particular interest to the international development sector and to those who recognize the importance and advantages it provides to collect, analyze, manage and communicate information across borders, in complex environments.

Originally designed as an internal information management and reporting tool to support program manager's efforts to capture and synthesize key community development program project level data, Web-PRS™ has evolved into a fully-functional online program monitoring and reporting tool used by international based development implementers and donors alike. Web-PRS™ is now the standard for monitoring and evaluating one of the largest community development programs in the world, in addition to several other multi-country/multi-implementer community based development programs elsewhere.

Among the most important benefits for international donors is the extensive availability and “real time” access to comprehensive program project data. Web-PRS™ utilizes the latest technology to provide a sophisticated tool for users to capture, store, filter, analyze, and report on key activity level and program-wide data. Information, photos, and reports that used to take weeks to obtain can now be shared with stakeholders instantly.

Data is presented in a consistent framework across large, multi-implementer, community-based international development programs whether operating in a single country or multiple countries within a region. Program project data can be viewed, filtered, analyzed, and reported in “real time” over the Internet anywhere in the world.
